The ball continued to roll last night as Phish played their second night in Miami, Florida. The boys dipped into their album Undermind a little more heavily than usual, busting out tunes like the poppy "The Connection" and "Access Me" while surprising the crowd with a nice Manteca jam in the midst of a heavy "Tweezer". A rare "Sleeping Monkey" and "Tweezer Reprise" mainstay made sure the encore wasn't a snooze fest. The boys keep the heat going tonight for the second to last performance.

I am writing from tampa bay FL. I am head of the Geri X. fanclub down here.
Geri X. is a band based out of Tampa Bay that just a few weeks ago relocated to Atlanta. The band got reasonable amount of press here in FL, in LA Calif., and Milwaukee WI. She has released 7 albums and in in the process of recording a new one. Their previous album also reached #2 in the billboard charts in Germany.
Geri has been playing and writing for about 5 years now and decided that a move to atlanta would be a good geographical move for the band so they can tour more often and tour smarter.
As the official head of the fan club I wanted to do some research and try and plug them here and there on the internet. Our Tampa music scene is great but the Atlanta scene is huge compared to the one here. Please give a listen to what they have on their myspace and watch of some of their videos on YouTube including their music video for the single "Kiss on Both Eyelids". They are a very talented young band, and all of us here think they are going to take the wold by a storm. With fans from 8 years old to 85 years old I don't think they will have a hard time achieving that. Geri is one of the most talented young ladies I've had the pleasure to meet.
